Kars Airport
The project, involved minimum 45 cm. thick granular fill (200.000 m3), 45 cm. thick subbase material (100.000 m3), 30 cm. thick base material (55.000 m3) and 35 cm. thick concrete pavement of runway and apron (75.000 m3).

In the construction, two D-9, two D-8, two vibrating cylinder, two earth grader, five loader and ten dumptruck of 35 tons capacity each were used and complete filling was finished in one construction season.

For concrete paving, a concrete plant of 100 m3/h, a spreader-finisher of 1.200 m3/day, three concrete joint cutter, three joint filler and one screening and washing plant of 50 m3/h capacity were used in addition to the other equipment.
