Çatalan Dam and HPP is an earthfill dam with an installed capacity of 3 x 65 MW, located 1 km downstream of Çatalan Township on the Seyhan River for flood control, energy, and irrigation purposes. At Çatalan Dam, which has a body volume of 17.5 x 106 m3 of earthfill, there is a flow-through covered spillway on the right bank. The crest length is 894 m, the width is 12 m, the crest elevation is 130 m, and the dam height from the foundation is 82 m.
