The scope of construction consists of a 3,400 x 45 x 0.40 m concrete-paved runway, a 100,000 m² apron, and 3 taxiways. Approximately 85% of the 1,000,000 m³ of earthworks consists of fill. This fill consists of layers of minimum 0.35 m granular fill, 0.55 m sub-base, and 0.15 m base material. This material was sourced from material quarries 16-20 km away, transported, and placed.

Three CAT 955s, two D-8s, two vibratory rollers, two No. 14 and No. 12 graders, one scraper, and 28 trucks were used for this work, and all filling was completed in a short time, similar to a construction season.

In concrete paving works, a concrete mixer with a capacity of 100 m³/hour and a spray finisher with a capacity of 1,200 m³/day, along with other construction machinery such as 3 joint cutting machines and 3 joint filling machines, were utilized as part of our company’s equipment.
